Project Mentor - Volunteer Internship
Our internship scheme will run alongside our employment team to provide intensive support to the long term unemployed, disabled and disadvantaged groups getting them into work.
You will gain genuine work experience and there will be a comprehensive training plan giving you the chance to enhance your employability and career prospects.
Our internships will involve
Planning and setting up group projects to find employment
- Mentoring individual clients to prepare them for work
- Supporting clients in work
- Finding potential vacancies
- Gathering and marketing successful placements
No experience is necessary; we will be looking for people who share our passion for equality of opportunity and making a difference to people’s lives.
You will be an outgoing, confident person or just have loads of energy and enthusiasm with flair for rapport building whether face to face or over the phone. This is a demanding but rewarding role where communication skills are the key to success.
We are interested in talking to candidates who are available on a flexible working arrangement for up to six months.
This opportunity will be suitable for people who are looking for careers in recruitment, sales, social care, community work, training, education or business development. Working with charities, private or public sector.
