Pure Innovations' Rochdale Services also offer people who attend the day centre the opportunity to participate in the following Community Voluteering projects:
The Rochdale Team have their own Park Wardens project, and the volunteers work alongside Park Rangers. The project has proven invaluable to both the community and the volunteers as they learn valuable skills in horticulture and work towards the beautification of their neighbourhood.
Recently, the Rochdale Park Wardens successfully applied for a B&Q Better Neighbourhood grant and were awarded £500 that was spent on new tools.

Another horticultural project that we offer voluntering opportunities for is to work in local primary schools in our community. The volunteers find it rewarding, getting to know staff and pupils whilst offering a service to maintain and improve playground and school playing field areas, for the mutual benefit of both the school and our team.
Another volunteering project that people can take part in is the Pure Crew. As with the Pure Crew Stockport team, the volunteers go out in their branded vehicle every day around Stockport and promote Pure 107.8FM. They advertise current events, collect ‘vox pops', dedications and take part in roadshows.

Pure Innovations volunteering also offers individual placements in a wide range of areas, including catering and day nurseries that bring our service users valuable working experiences in an integrated environment.
