Tips for Applicants

Before you submit your application you are strongly advised to read these guidelines:

In order to be considered for a vacancy you must either complete our application form or submit a CV. If you choose to submit a CV you must ensure that it covers all the areas on the application form including the sections on criminal convictions and monitoring information.

It is also important that you complete the monitoring information sheet as this will help us to monitor the effectiveness of our Equality and Diversity policy in relation to recruitment and selection. Monitoring information is separated from your application as soon as it is received and treated as confidential. It is not passed onto anyone involved in short listing or interviewing for the vacancy.

If you find it difficult to read the application form, or you need a larger print size, you may photocopy it to give you a clear black and white copy to complete. The decision to shortlist is based solely on the information you provide on the application form. Your application must include information which gives clear evidence as to how you feel you meet the specific requirements of the job you are applying for.
