Since 2003, Pure Innovations has provided a service for Looked After Children or Young People in Stockport who are leaving care.
Two Employment Officers encourage and support young people aged 16 to 19 to go into further education, training or work. Once this has been secured support is offered to them while they are at work or college.
The Youth Transitions Team provides committed and intense support for individuals whose background and personal history often makes it difficult for them to settle down in the early part of their careers.

If you want more information on the work we've done with young people and looked after children, we have produced an in-depth review of our early 'Youth Transitions Project'. It has all been put together in a publication called 'Sorted!'.
