We’re looking for more Community Support Workers!

Posted on the 11th August 2017

Right now, Pure Support have got six vacancies for Community Support Workers, and we’re looking for YOU to join our team.

So, what role does a Community Support Worker actually play? Let’s take a look!

A Community Support Worker, first and foremost, helps to bring people together as a group. They channel their own passion and enthusiasm for an activity to engage the hearts and minds of our clients.

If you have a real passion for activities such as music, gardening, arts & crafts or even cake and coffee mornings, you could share that enthusiasm and help to build it in others.

Every group is made up of individuals, of course, each with their own needs. A Community Support Worker seeks to encourage each client to engage with the group’s activities, supporting their individual needs and providing opportunities to get involved.

Its a challenging but rewarding role which will see you working all across Stockport, supporting our clients on varied projects and at multiple locations.

No two days are quite the same!
