Volunteering Information Days at The Kitchen!

Posted on the 21st February 2019

Are you interested in investing some of your time into helping others, but you’re not sure if volunteering role is right for you? We can help!

We will be offering one-to-one information and advice at The Kitchen – Café & Bakery about a range of volunteering opportunities with Pure and other organisations in Stockport. We will be providing information on the type of work we do and where you can help.

There are volunteer opportunities with many organisations across Stockport covering a wide range of interests. For example, the fantastic volunteer Cath on the right above helps our clients create lovely artworks at our ceramics studio once a week for two hours.

At Pure we are particularly keen to hear from volunteers with a flair for gardening, art and animation but would like to her what other skills you may have too! Whatever your  talent or passion we can help you find a role. Based on your skills and interests we can signpost you to other organisation offering the most suitable and enjoyable fit for you. If you struggle finding spare time to volunteer, we can also help you find roles with flexible hours to fit around your busy schedule.
