Jenny Drinkwater Exhibition at Pure’s Vernon Gallery

Posted on the 6th March 2019

An exciting new art exhibition at the Vernon Art Gallery in Stockport is bringing a bold splash of colour to spring.

Spliced and Diced showcases works by North-West based visual artist Jenny Drinkwater. It includes canvases, sculptural installations, film and more incorporating images of Vernon House and the surrounding gardens in beautifully vivid abstract forms.

Jenny’s work “considers the integrity of our environment, looking at the bond between urban development and natural landscape.” Find out more in the posters below.

We are delighted to be hosting this exhibition in the gallery which we  consider a community space. We love to share it with other artists! You will find the gallery  downstairs at Vernon Park Cafe in Vernon House.

Do come along and enjoy this free exhibition. Some of the works are for sale.

You can find out about more of Jenny’s work on her Twitter feed here and her website here.

When you have visited the exhibition why not pop into Vernon Park Cafe too and enjoy the views of the park and surrounding area that provided inspiration for her brilliant work?
