Quality Award From BASE for Pure Supported Employment

Posted on the 1st April 2019

We are delighted to announce that our Supported Employment services have been awarded a score of 83% in an audit by the British Association for Supported Employment (BASE).

This audit provides a guide to how well we are delivering and recording our services to people with a learning disability or autism and to others using secondary mental health services. The quality of our services is therefore officially rated as Good, an award that gives employers, commissioners and clients confidence in our provision.

Margaret Parker, Pure Employment Contract Manager (pictured above), describes the award as a mark of quality from an organisation that is trusted and highly respected nationally.

Pure Chief Executive Officer Louise Parrott-Bates had this to say:

We are delighted to have been awarded 83% in this report. The Employment team works hard with clients to overcome barriers and secure employment. The results are a reflection of what can be achieved when everyone pulls together for the benefit of our clients. Congratulations team!

Everyone involved in our Supported Employment services works hard to achieve paid jobs for people who require  support to gain and sustain paid employment. That support is wide-ranging and includes:

  • identifying the work most suitable to a client’s abilities and aspirations
  • assistance with job searching and CV writing
  • arranging working interviews where appropriate.
  • practical support when starting a new job
