Wow Factor: St Chad’s Cafe in Handforth Transformed

Posted on the 25th April 2019

Cafe Aroma is sporting a fabulous new look this spring. The space has been completely transformed with fresh colours on the walls, a smart new carpet, modern light fittings plus chic new tables and chairs.

Pure clients, supported by Pure staff, man the cafe which is at St Chad’s Church on Wilmslow Road. They prepare almost all the fabulous meals and snacks from scratch.

Reverend Stephen Burmester, vicar of St Chad’s, is delighted with the church’s refurbishment programme and is  keen to credit Pure clients for their role.

Many people have commented on the cafe's new wow factor. It is so bright and welcoming.

Proceeds from the cafe have made a very significant contribution towards the renovations. Pure Innovations' clients and staff do a fantastic job providing quality food and friendly service. Customer numbers vary day to day but the cafe is often incredibly busy.

Volunteers from the church deal with the finances. It is a very successful partnership resulting in a thriving asset for the whole community.

Pure Clients, supported by our staff,  make many delicious dishes including the quiches pictured above. What a bargain at £3.50 including salad and a bread roll.

Fresh soup is another speciality – just £2 including a roll! Pies are another speciality. If you missed it first time you can see our video of Dominic making a fabulous corned beef pie here!

Next time you are in Handforth do take time out to visit the new look Cafe Aroma. You won’t be disappointed.

Cafe Aroma is open from 10am until 1:30pm every weekday.
