Last Chance To See #claynature In Vernon Park

Posted on the 28th May 2019

We’re now on our final week of #claynature! The interactive arts exhibition will be ending on Friday 31st May. It’s the perfect activity for the school holidays that the whole family can enjoy! Simply collect the #claynature map from Vernon Park Café and start looking for the colourful ceramic animals.

Our artists from the ceramics project at Pure Art Studio have been working hard sculpting a range of nature inspired pieces including birds, frogs, koala bears and more. The artists have now placed them around the park for you to find. In addition to the movable pieces there are some ceramic artwork tiles that you can see around the park too.

Take a look at these snaps of artists Katherine, Jenny and Megan placing their artwork. Please bear in mind that once people find them they can be hidden in different places so they’re not necessarily in the spot you see them here!

While you’re on the trail why not take your findings to social media and tag in Vernon Gallery?

Remember to use the hashtag #claynature

A familiar face recently did just that. Clint Boon the Mancunian musician, DJ and radio presenter found a ceramic rabbit tile and tweeted the Gallery. Do the same and you’ll be in great company.

So do come along for the interactive art exhibition Pure Art Studio’s fabulous #claynature before it ends on Friday 31st May!
