Corben: Our Apprentice Award Star

Posted on the 27th June 2019

Congratulations to Corben Morris of  the Pure Accounts Department. Today he was presented with an Apprentice Star Award from The Apprentice Academy.

Corben, 19, is based at the Pure Innovations Head Office in Hazel Grove. He joined us in September 2018 and very quickly impressed his work colleagues. Corben has taken on additional responsibilities far earlier than expected and with a positive attitude. Of course he completes them to a high standard and is also very popular in the office.

Training provider The Apprentice Academy makes its awards every six months. Future Talent Director Jim Clarke (above, right) came along  to present Corben with a framed certificate, a gift voucher and chocolates.

It was cool to win the award and I have now progressed to working towards my Accountancy Apprenticeship Level 3.

I really enjoy working here and particularly like the way everyone is encouraged to know everyone else. It is really friendly - plus there are always lots of sweets!

Sweet-toothed colleagues are delighted with Corben's success.

Corben was nominated by Pure Director of Finance, Stuart Brierley. He has this to say about Corben.

Corben has fitted well into the Accounts Department and his recognition by the Apprentice Academy is a reflection of what he has achieved since he started with us. He is an asset to the office and we are pleased with his progress. He is fully deserving of the Star Award.

Stuart Brierley - Director Of Finance, Pure Innovations.
