UPDATE: FRESH Holiday Hunger Appeal Ends

Posted on the 18th March 2020

Appeal Ends Early

Please note that the school that is receiving the food donations organised by voluntary group FRESH is closing on Friday – earlier than anticipated.

As a result we will be delivering the donations received at drop off points at our cafes to the school tomorrow and no more donations are requested.

We extend our warm thanks to everyone who has made a donation  to support the children who are facing hunger at this time.

Share and Care At Your Supermarket

Of course there are other ways that you can show you care. Many local  families and other groups are facing challenges in our area.

Many supermarkets have collection points where you can leave donations for food banks  and other local charities. They are an easy way to show you care and we think they are a great was for people to support others in their own community.

Our thanks again to all who donated.
