We are so excited to have produce from our bakery The Kitchen back out in the community. The cafe itself hasn’t reopened but we are busy baking our delicious bread and cakes to sell at our two pop-up stalls. It’s so great to have Pure Support clients in The Kitchen again learning valuable baking and cooking skills!
Do you fancy some of our bakes? We would love you to visit one of our stalls and support us. We will be out on Fridays and Saturdays with lots of yummy treats ready-packaged for you to buy!
Note will be moving to Stockport Market on Saturdays in due course and will post the details on social media. Why not follow us on Facebook or Twitter?
The stall is run by our Volunteers Coordinator Emily Smith assisted by Pure clients. Products available include our range of Coburg loaves starting at just £1 each. You don’t have to be rich to try our millionaire shortbread. Why not try our teacakes too – they’re only £1.50 per pack.
Do come along. Emily and our bakers would love to see you!
The Kitchen continues to provide clients with valuable bakery experience and training. Everyone had adapted brilliantly to new ways of working including social distancing and other safety measures. It is great to be back and there are big smiles beneath those face coverings.
Clients have been busy making cakes, bread and soup all safely spaced out across the cafe. The goods they produce are also being donated to food banks in Stockport.
Great work guys!
Do come along to one of our market stalls and support us by purchasing a lovely cake. We would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who has come to see us so far. You have made our return extra special. Thank you!
