Please Vote To Create a Garden For Pure Clients

Posted on the 2nd September 2020

We are delighted to have been selected as a finalist in the fab Vernon Building Society Community Awards 2020. Now we need your help. Please vote for us!

We have a project dear to us that needs funding.

Sensory Garden for Pure Clients.

This autumn our Stockport Support Clients will be moving from Sanderling Building in Cheadle Heath to Prospect House in Hazel Grove. As well as a bright, airy building  we will have a secure outdoor space. We want to transform it into a lovely sensory garden. At the moment though, it looks like this!

square area of paving with gravel edging and a few shrubs.

Admittedly the paving has been jet-washed since this picture was taken!

Our Vision

We envisage beds and pots full of brightly coloured flowers, rustling grasses, scented foliage and fragrant blooms.

There will be seating too of course so people we support can sit out and enjoy the fresh air in the beautiful garden.

A Growing Space

Clients with an interest in gardening will take an active role in maintaining the plants.  They will be sowing seeds, planting bulbs, watering and all the other  jobs that make a garden – and gardeners – flourish.

It is a great way to learn all about nature.

Colourful annuals and wallflowers will be a good choice to bring in the butterflies and bees.

How you can help.

Please click this link to go to info on the Vernon Building Society Community Awards 2020.  It has info on all the finalists.

Each finalist will be allocated a portion of the generous £10,000 fund in proportion to the number of public votes they receive. That is why we would LOVE you to vote for Pure Innovations. Just follow the simple instructions to cast your vote  and help build a lovely garden for Pure clients.

Lockdown has taught us many things, not least the value of outdoor space. Let’s make this a really beautiful one.
