Helping to Fight Holiday Hunger at Our Cafes

Posted on the 27th October 2020

Our cafés are providing free lunches to under 16s all day every day until close on Friday 30th October to help fight holiday hunger. In these lunches there will be a choice of a sandwich – a cake – fruit or crisps – and a juice or a bottle of water.

We will be offering them with no judgement or questions asked. So please come and enjoy a lovely day out in one of our parks with lunch on us!

The cafés offering these free meals are:

Thank you to Councillor Steve Gribbon and Asda in Marple for the donations of food. It is very much appreciated!

As a charity ourselves, we pride ourselves on giving our clients a fulfilled day. We are always looking at how we can support other charities and good causes, and supporting those who are having a tough time remains important to us even in these difficult times.

Pay It With a Post-it

We have been blown away by how well received our Pay It With a Post-It scheme has been. This is where customers pay for a coffee in advance for another customer to spread some cheer. What lovely messages we have had coming through on the post-its too.

Please feel free to take a post-it for a free coffee, whatever the reason, big or small.

Food Donation Station

In addition to offering free lunches our cafés will be acting as a drop-off point for food donations. We will collect any canned food, dried food, Christmas chocolates etc. These will then be delivered to a local food bank.

Whether you are having a free meal for your children, collecting a coffee or delivering some food, we hope to see you at one of our cafés!
