Bertie Bread Van’s Christmas Bread Donations

Posted on the 23rd December 2020

Bertie the Bread Van has been delivering bread donations from our bakery The Kitchen across Greater Manchester. Staff at the bakery have been up bright and early baking all the delicious fresh bread ready to be sent out over the Christmas period. After such a difficult year, it is more important than ever to spread some baked joy.

Last week we donated 130 loaves and we will be increasing that over the course of this week with 300 loaves.

There are many great organisations feeding the community this Christmas. The amazing charities we are donating our bread to include:

We are also donating bread and cakes to community café Milk and Honey, which is supplying food to students and local residents during the difficult Covid period.

Pure’s Bakery “The Kitchen” has been supplying local food banks and other Charities since 2018 with fresh bread, that’s made by our clients!

2020 has seen a greater need than ever and so we are supplying more bread than ever to our partners who ensure it gets to those who need it!

The Kitchen team are proud to be able to play our part and thank our partners for working their magic where it is most needed!

David Ferrier - Pure Director of Operations

What wonderful work these foodbanks are doing this Christmas! Pure is so glad to be lending a helping hand.
