Vaccine Video For People with a Learning Disability

Posted on the 18th January 2021

Confused about vaccines? Well NHS England has made this fab, informative Covid-19 vaccine video for people with a learning disability and autistic people.

Video Questions

In the video you’ll find answers to questions such as:

  • What is a vaccine?
  • Why should I get a vaccine?
  • Is there anyone who should not get a vaccine?

It’s not a long video and all of Katie Mathews‘ questions are answered very clearly by Dr Roger Banks. He is the National Clinical Director  for Learning Disabilities and Autism. You can watch the video below.

Katie Mathews, Learning DIsability and Autism Network Manager, interviews Dr Roger Banks.

Any Other Questions?

As Dr Banks says, it is important to be informed. If you have any other questions, be sure to talk to your doctor or the Practice Nurse at your GP surgery.
