Free Froggy Fun This Weekend at Vernon Park!

Posted on the 16th August 2021

Come and join our FREE Frog Hunt in Stockport’s Vernon Park this weekend. (Aug 21-22, 11-2pm).

Follow the fun clues on our activity sheet to complete a trail around this lovely Stockport park. Hand it in at the end and you’ll be presented with your free mini ceramic frog to take home. There will be free froggy shortbread biscuits at Vernon Park Cafe too (while stocks last.) Frogtastic!

Each unique ceramic frog has been handcrafted by Pure clients and kiln-fired at our dedicated ceramics studio above Vernon Park Cafe.  What a brilliant souvenir.

Leap Frog Art Trail

The Frog Hunt is inspired by the wonderful Leap Frog Art Trail currently taking place across Stockport. How many of the giant, colourful frogs have you seen? They’re all sponsored by diferent businesses and organisations. Here’s the Stockport Council Fostering Services frog, with Pure Ceramics clients, right outside Vernon Park Cafe. Pick up your free activity sheets at their stall here at the weekend.

Homes for Frog Friends

Our talented artists have also been lending a helping hand to the real life frogs in the park. They’ve been making enchanting little ceramic frog shelters and placing these where they think frogs might like to live.

Nature needs a helping hand more than ever now and we hope our park frogs find shelter in these bijou apartments.

Do come and join in the fun on the Frog Hunt Trail this weekend. We’d love to see you.
