Sue’s Story
Radio star and admin assistant – Sue loves variety!
"I love my job and I love One Voice."
Both of her roles make great use of Sue’s IT skills. She is a valued part of Pure FM’s One Voice show – a weekly programme for and by people with additional needs. Sue loves researching and writing items for the show and helps with studio recordings.
She can often be heard on the airwaves in the studio discussions on show business and sport.
It’s great fun – and Sue is just as happy in her part-time paid office job.
‘I love paperwork’, said Sue. ‘I work at Personal Taxation Services. It’s the best job I’ve ever had.’
Sue’s admin role includes handling mail and labelling files.
‘Sue does a valuable job for us’, said Jolene Quinn, Sue’s manager. ‘She’s one of the team. Everyone loves having her here – not least because she never forgets anyone’s birthday!”
