About You

About the role

This role will support Pure Innovations management and staff in their day to day work and will be the first point of contact for all general IT queries and technical problems. More complex IT support is provided by our external partner who is based in the same location as our head office.


  • Have the confidence, skills and knowhow to set up new mobile phones and laptops
  • Excellent knowledge and use of I.T. including MS Office, Word, & PowerPoint
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with staff and all levels to achieve a positive outcome.
  • The post holder must hold a current driver licence and have use of a car to travel to our other sites across Greater Manchester.


Main Tasks:

  • To ensure Pure Innovations staff have access to support and obtain a speedy response if they are experiencing IT difficulties.
  • To resolve IT problems and to set up equipment for new starters and replacement equipment for other staff.
  • To manage the flow of information and communication about IT issues; both incoming and outgoing, including phone calls, emails and face to face queries.
  • To plan, organise and carry out any work to strict deadlines including the prioritisation of own workload in accordance with management instructions.
  • To keep accurate records of work completed and registers of equipment issued to staff.
