Etherow Park Café

Pure Coffee, Etherow Country Park is situated in Compstall, a small village nestled between Marple and Romiley.

Etherow Country Park was one of the Country’s first country parks and is one of Stockport’s most widely visited parks. Its 240 Acres offers a wide variety of plants and wildlife, while attracting thousands of visitors each year to it amazing walks, boating lakes and Angling opportunities. The café itself is right in the heart of the park, situated at the entrance to the large car park, where toilets and a visitor centre can also be found.

The Café is open 9-5 (March-October) and 9-4 (November- February).

Pure Coffee, Etherow Country Park prides itself on real artisan coffee (supplied by Manchester’s own Heart and Graft Roastery) , plus a tempting and varied food menu using quality ingredients. It is also the perfect place for a bite to eat if you are attending any of the fun family events at Etherow Visitor Centre next door. Whether you’re after a perfect Pukka pie and a cuppa, a hearty sandwich or  a delicious cake or bake from our bakery at The Kitchen in Stockport, our café in Etherow Park  is the place to be.

Waggy tails are welcome too. The cafe is pet friendly both inside and out, so bring your best friend along.

The park has a lovely lake popular for sailing, fishing and model boating. There’s an impressive waterfall, woodland walks and of course lots of ducks to feed! See the Nature Trail map in the gallery below. The Visitor Centre, hosts a great rolling programme of fun activities throughout the year including special events such as Children’s Book Days.
