Gorton Mill Coffee Shop
Gorton Mill Café is a brand new project in the heart of Gorton. In partnership with Southway housing trust the café sits within a newly opened over 55s housing development, and services the residents who live there while also being open to the wider public. The café has a couple of key objectives: Firstly, to provide freshly prepared delicious food and drink, secondly to provide catering training to our clients and thirdly to sit comfortably within Southways age friendly offer, insuring that the café is accessible and affordable for all.
Fancy a visit? Check out our Menu!
The Gorton Mill Coffee Shop offers a wide range of tasty sandwiches, ciabattas, soup and cakes. We also have hot meals such as fish & chips and cheeseburgers. This selection of snacks are all great value too!
If you’re in and around Gorton looking for a delicious lunch, our coffee shop is just minutes away. Looking for something warm and cheesy? Our BBQ chicken melt ciabatta is just the thing for you. After a vegan snack to hit the spot? Our roasted veg and hummus sandwich is certain to hit the spot. You can take your food to go too!
We also offer a breakfast range. After all, it is the most important meal of the day. Toasted tea cakes, croissants and pain au chocolats are the ideal on-the-go breakfast before heading to the office.
The Gorton Mill Coffee Shop has artisan coffee with its beans provided by local Manchester based roastery Heart & Graft. It’s perfect for a real boost to your day.
Fresh, Local and Affordable Bread
We stock freshly made loaves in the cafe available to buy for just £1 each. They are all baked at our cafe and bakery The Kitchen – just up the road on Chestergate. There we train people with learning disabilities to make a range of top quality bread and cakes. Brilliant!
