Gorton Mill Café is a brand new project in the heart of Gorton. In partnership with Southway housing trust the café sits within a newly opened over 55s housing development, and services the residents who live there while also being open to the wider public. The café has a couple of key objectives: Firstly, to provide freshly prepared delicious food and drink, secondly to provide catering training to our clients and thirdly to sit comfortably within Southways age friendly offer, insuring that the café is accessible and affordable for all.

The Gorton Mill Coffee Shop offers a wide range of tasty sandwiches, ciabattas, soup and cakes. We also have hot meals such as fish & chips and cheeseburgers. This selection of snacks are all great value too!

Fresh, Local and Affordable Bread
We stock freshly made loaves in the cafe available to buy for just £1 each. They are all baked at our cafe and bakery The Kitchen – just up the road on Chestergate. There we train people with learning disabilities to make a range of top quality bread and cakes. Brilliant!
