The Boathouse Café
We are open 7 days a week, 9am-5pm, (Our summer hours from April 1st 2021). Toilets now open 9am-3pm
Pure's Boathouse Café, also known as the picturesque café, looks over a serene lake in Alexandra Park, Oldham.
We have weekly delivery of cakes, sweets and scrumptious gingerbread men from The Kitchen.
The café is an exciting hub of activity for both our clients and visiting customers. It has a wide range of food on sale including a scrumptious full English breakfast, sandwiches and kids’ meals. If you’re not feeling hungry, why not just pop in for something from our wide range of hot drinks.

Scoops at the Boathouse
Scoops is a brand new Ice Cream parlour in the heart of Alexandra Park in Oldham. Conveniently located within our pre existing ‘The Boathouse Café’ Scoops is the place to be for indulgent waffles, massive cake and amazing cheesecakes. The Boathouse is also a base for a range of projects that engage our clients with learning disabilities in meaningful and rewarding activities.
These include stop motion animation, gardening, hospitality and catering, and more.
Our woodwork project is now based at The Woodshack in Chadderton. However its range of products including bird boxes, hedgehog dens and bat boxes etc can often be bought at The Boathouse.
