Pure Innovations runs The Windmill Coffee Shop on behalf of Stockport Homes. It is in a great location in the centre of Stockport right next to the Town Hall.

The Windmill Coffee Shop offers a great range of tasty sandwiches, ciabattas, soup and cakes. We also have hot meals such as lasagna and macaroni cheese with bacon. This selection of snacks are all great value too!

Food Glorious Food

If you work in the bustling centre around Stockport Town Hall your delicious lunch is just minutes away. Cheese lover? Our BBQ chicken melt ciabatta is just the thing for you. Vegan and longing for a scrumptious snack? Look know further! Our roasted veg and hummus sandwich is certain to hit the spot. You can take your food to go too!

We also offer a breakfast range. After all, it is the most important meal of the day. Toasted tea cakes, croissants and pain au chocolats are the ideal on-the-go breakfast before heading to the office.

The Windmill Coffee Shop has artisan coffee with its beans provided by local Manchester based roastery Heart & Graft. It’s perfect for a real boost to your day.

Fresh, Local and Affordable Bread

We stock freshly made loaves in the cafe available to buy for just £1 each. They are all baked at our cafe and bakery The Kitchen – just up the road on Chestergate. There we train people with learning disabilities to make a range of top quality bread and cakes. Brilliant!

Location, Location, Location

The cafe is called The Windmill, as there used to be a windmill right here, which powered the Edward Street mill.

The windmill foundations were uncovered in the demolition of the Lamborghini showroom in 2016. Now it is the home of Stockport Homes and of course us, The Windmill Coffee Shop.

If you work or study near the Town Hall why not drop by for a quick and delicious lunch or breakfast. Or, if you’re visiting Stockport Art Gallery – we are just across the road.
