A range of work placements is available at Trafford General Hospital and out in the wider community.

Nadine's confidence blossomed when she was on reception duties.

Our partnership with Trafford CollegeTrafford Council and Trafford General Hospital  helps young people with learning difficulties/disabilities learn the necessary skills to gain paid employment.

Aided by Senior Employment Officers from Pure funded by Trafford Council, the interns work within Trafford General Hospital and beyond.

Here is a video of some of the interns that shows just some of the placements available.

And here is Josh with the story of how his work placment led to paid work at Forest Green Preparatory School in Sale. He has some great advice for interviews too!

A tutor is provided by Trafford College and as with all the internships there is an hour of classroom-based study at the start of each day. You can find out more on our Supported Internship page.

With the skills they have gained during their work-based placements, we aim to find paid employment for all the interns after their year on the project.
