Pure Brick Studio
A creative space and also an online store: Pure Brick Studio feeds imagination and dexterity - and builds employability skills.
Pure Brick Studio builds on imagination. Clients have access to many thousands of Lego bricks and can develop their own creations or construct designs from boxed kits across a range of intricacy.
Building with Lego exercises planning and construction skills – and of course it’s great fun too.
Spaceships, hospitals, iconic buildings, snow scenes: clients have tackled them all and more. Pure staff are always to hand to provide guidance if required and to steer imaginative group projects. Take a look at some of their creations in this gallery.
See Inside Pure Brick Studio
The studio really is a fun place to be and that’s even reflected in the decor. Check it out in our virtual-tour video below. What fab wall art by Pure Community Support Worker, Vicky Goodall!
You’ll see there’s ample space for social distancing too.
As mentioned, Pure Brick Studio has a dual purpose. As well as feeding all that creativity, it will nurture business skills and enhance employability, especially in retail services. Here’s how.
Pure Brick Studio Online Store
COMING SOON! Plans for the launch of our online store operated by clients are at an advanced stage.
The store will be selling pre-loved Lego bricks to help finance the studio. The products on sale will include items such as pocket-money kits designed by clients; incomplete donated kits made complete with spares from our collection and packs of spare parts for collectors and hobbyists who have missing items.
Pure clients, who have a learning disability or autism, can also be involved in the running of the store. They’ll assist in roles such as the cleaning and sanitising of donated items, keeping stock inventories, stock picking, orders dispatch and more.
Can you donate Lego to help Pure Brick Studio? We would love your pre-loved bricks, characters, accessories and all things Lego – and Duplo too!
