Staying active is the key to staying healthy, and our sports sessions are a great way to get moving and have fun at the same time.

We hold  fun days of sport several days a week at Life Leisure Avondale. Participants take part in a range of activities such as dodgeball, boccia (a form of bowls adapted for wheelchair users) football and basketball. There is a real focus on fun and teamwork.

Fitness is important to everyone and can be a struggle. The use of the facilities at Avondale is a real benefit to Pure clients, many of whom attend to improve their health and well-being.

We have also noticed clients growing in confidence both in themselves or in the ways they engage more with the other clients. Sport is a great way of bringing people together – as well as having a little competitive edge to it!
