For Employers

Why should I use Pure Employment? An important objective for an employer is for the workforce to accurately reflect the local community and its customers, regardless of age, disability and ethnic origin.

Supporting employers to achieve a diverse workforce

Pure Innovations are here to support employers to choose the right person for the role. Having working in a person centred manner with our customers we have a better understanding of individual skill set.

The Customer

An Employment Officer provided through Pure Innovations undertakes a Person Centred Plan with the prospective applicant. This is to identify work related skills and aspirations. With this process completed, the Employment Officer will have the information required to assist the person in seeking suitable employment taking time to understand what is required of their employees.

A job analysis

An Employment Officer will complete a full analysis of the job in conjunction with department managers and staff to ascertain whether this vacancy is suitable for the proposed applicant. This is a proven method of assessing job requirements and ensuring a good job match is achieved. Our Professional team have been trained in systematic instruction and take the time to identify how a person best learns and implement strategies that will support both the employer and employee to understand a different approach and sustain a role long term.

Working interview
A working interview is an opportunity for an employer and Employment Officer to assess the suitability of the job match and the opportunity for the applicant to continue into paid employment.

It allows the applicant to do the job for a short period and generally consists of the following:
• The duration is generally dependent on the individual and negotiated with the employer, working no more than 15 hours per week unpaid (so as not to affect any benefit).
• Job training is provided by an Employment Officer (were appropriate and if required)
• The applicant’s progress is continually monitored by the Employment Officer and fed back to the employer at regular intervals.
