Festim’s Story

Pure have partnered with the charity Fara Kids for over 18 months with work experience placements and training opportunities.

"It is good to have a person we can trust and it must be working as the shop is always full."
- Jenny, Fara Kids

We have built up a good working relationship with the managers and staff at both shops in Chiswick.

Over the past 18 months we have had 7 clients completing work training in their charity shops.  Using Fara is an ideal opportunity for Pure to assess clients and their commitment to work. It is also an opportunity to see their work skills in a real situation such as punctuality, ability to travel and reliability.

Working in partnership with Fara as a  win-win situation as it give’s clients an opportunity to train in work; Fara will provide a work reference and we have the opportunity to assess clients  in a work environment – as well as the shop getting their donations. – Sandra

When a paid role of leaflet distributor came up, Pure was the first call.

Festim had completed work experience at a bar so was up to speed with his work skills and training. He was successful in securing the job and Jenny, the deputy manager is really pleased with the results.
