When Mohammed was referred to Pure Innovations service he initially worked with Pure’s Work Experience Co-ordinator and undertook a 2 week work experience placement at a large Tesco store in the area.
Mohammed really enjoyed this and the store manager was very impressed with his hard work and dedication.
When Mohammed was ready Pure’s Employment Advisor would seek for paid employment for him. They worked closely together meeting regularly to work on Mohammed’s ‘Work Development Plan’. Through identifying Mohammed’s skills and interests they decided that his Employment Advisor would seek paid retail roles.
Mohammed started an 8 hour a week position at the store at the end of June. The store manager is very happy with his work and has said if Mohammed continues to improve he will increase the hours of his contract.
Mohammed is really enjoying his new role and has already made new friends and wants to continue his hard work and progress within the store.
