The Armed Forces Community Hub launch is on the 17th will be attended by the High Sheriff, who has kindly donated to the project, this will be a weekly session to start with but may increase if demand is high.
The hub will operate on a drop in basis with free hot and cold drinks plus snacks (biscuits) we will also offer additional food for a small donation, toasties, sandwiches, burgers, bacon rolls etc, once a month we will offer a hot meal, chilli, hotpot etc, again this will require a small donation.
The hub is open to anyone who has or who is still serving in the armed forces and their families, so could be children, widows, partners, etc
This is a new project with a partnership approach with Hazel Grove Royal British Legion, Stockport Armed Forces Community Organisation and Pure Innovations. Start up funding has been secured via Manchester Airport, UKSPF and the high sheriff’s office
