How does it work?
AutismWISE stands for Wellbeing, Information, Support and Empowerment.
We are a dedicated and inclusive signposting service for Autistic residents with a Manchester City postcode, designed to empower autistic people by offering a range of tailored support.
Clients can choose from multiple services, including employment assistance, therapy support (e.g. low level CBT), community activities, and external referrals to specialised support.
Services are available through drop-in centres, one-on-one support, workshops, and community-based activities.
Due to popularity of the service, we are currently operating on a waitlist system for Nordoff & Robbins and I AM Autism. We encourage for you to still enquire so we can review what support we can offer.

Quotes From Our Clients
Music therapy made a significant difference to my mental health – my anxiety levels were slashed in half. Life was bright again, like when you get colours back!
AutismWISE has been my lifeline, I don’t feel alone anymore. They have helped me a lot.
It was a lovely service that referred me to Respect 4 All where I have accessed group therapy and coaching both of which have been so helpful. It was just a great starting point too for finding services when I was lost after being diagnosed.
For the last 7 months it’s been one amazing time after another and rarely have I wanted to pass out on whatever activity was being planned out, and I am so glad I managed to get in contact with this little organisation group as the last 5 years of my life have been a struggle to socialise, connect with others and genuinely do the stuff that I love to keep myself stimulated. But its thanks to IAmAutism and AutismWISE that I’ve been able to progress further in my life and land myself into volunteering work with Oxfam.
AutismWISE is life changing getting the chance to meet other Autistic people and not having to mask is lovely and just be ourselves, no judgement and a fully safe space.
Really positive experience, made to feel welcome, not judged and listened too. The staff are fantastic!
My experience with AutismWISE has been excellent as I have got to meet new people and make new friends with everyone.
