Louise has worked with Pure Innovations since 2005, bringing a passion and entrepreneurial spirit that has allowed the charity to continually grow and develop within an ever changing and challenging environment.

“I have worked in the Health and Social Care sector for over 28 years, with an extensive background in disability, older people’s and children’s services. My desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives is what brought me into care in the first instance and that desire has never changed.”

Within her leadership role, Louise has pioneered new ways of perceiving inclusion and continues to challenge employers, organisations and fellow industry professionals to recruit and engage with a more diverse workforce.

“When we walk employers through an inclusive recruitment process, they become both informed and empowered. Employers do not always intentionally discriminate against people with a disability when recruiting, rather unaware that their practice automatically excludes certain people from applying or applying successfully.”
