Our Mission
Our mission is to ensure that service user lived experience of mental health recovery is represented in service delivery across Adult Mental Health Services in Stockport.
Our goal is to achieve a holistic person-centred approach to mental health care that is measure by improved quality of life and a sense of autonomy and dignity.
We work with Pennine Care NHS Trust, Stockport Social Services, Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprises (VCFSEs) to ensure services enable equal opportunities for those living with Mental Health challenges in all areas of life.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible to join the Your Voice Matters Lived Experience Panel you must have had experience of Mental Health Services in Stockport.
You must also want to connect with others, work with services to meet the needs of those living in Stockport and be willing to talk openly in a a confidential, safe and supportive environment.

Plain English: We are working on a glossary of common mental health service acronyms and phrases. We aim to make accessing services more accessible to those identifying with learning disabilities or neurodivergence.
