Hannah Marchbank

I’m Hannah Marchbank, I am really pleased to be a Governor for Pure College. I started my career in Education in Stockport over 15 years, since then I have worked in several sectors including Youth Justice, Sexual Violence and Supported Employment across Greater Manchester. My specialist areas are within safeguarding and learning support.
I currently work as a Learning Support Manager and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead for a Post 16 Training Provider. I have strategic responsibilities however, I am very much hands on and will often be meeting learners to identify strategies to overcome barriers in learning.
I am knowledgeable about localised safeguarding concerns and initiatives to reduce risk. I am an advocate for SEND young people, I have high aspirations for the students at the college and I am really excited to see how they progress. I look forward to hearing more about employment opportunities for these learners in Stockport when they complete their accreditation.
