Tier 1
About the course
The session forms the second part of the Tier 2 training and must be completed after the Oliver McGTier 1 provides a general awareness of learning disability and autism for staff who may encounter autistic people or people with a learning disability within their role.
The training includes completion of the Oliver McGowan e-learning modules followed by a live one-hour interactive webinar delivered via Teams. Evidence of e-learning completion is required before attending.

About the course
Tier 2 is designed for health and social care professionals and other staff working directly with autistic people or people with a learning disability.
The training includes completion of the Oliver McGowan e-learning modules followed by a full-day face-to-face session. Evidence of e-learning completion is required before attending.
What can you expect?
The session includes a morning module on Learning Disability and an afternoon module on Autism, delivered by a Training Facilitator alongside Experts by Lived Experience.
Training combines lived experience, group discussion, practical reflection and interactive learning to help teams build confidence and strengthen inclusive practice.
