Lucy Powis

A former lawyer, I live with my family in Stockport. As the parent of a teenager with a learning disability, I am familiar not only with the challenges that face those with a disability, but also with the achievements and successes that they can celebrate.

I am acutely aware of the need to ensure that all are offered the opportunity to utilise their talents, develop their capabilities and use these to enrich the wider community, and am committed to further the provision of the same.
