Another bumper financial year draws to a close for Stockport based charity, Pure Innovations.

Highlights from the year include:

  • Increasing the salaries of our front-line support staff by 8.5%, in alignment with the Real Living Wage scheme
  • Signing up to the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, a voluntary membership and assessment scheme
  • unveiling a rebrand which encourages all our clients to continue to aim high

Our year in review:

We’ve spent the last year continuing to provide key support and employment services for our clients across Greater Manchester and supporting local communities with a range of food and drink options through our chain of Pure Coffee cafes and catering opportunities prepared in Pure Kitchen.

In the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic, we upheld our responsibility to helping people with disabilities find employment and helped secure over 50 jobs at a time when many industries struggled to retain staff. This achievement is in direct support of the government’s strategy to get a million more disabled people into employment by 2027.

Of course our responsibilities stretch to more than just our clients and local communities. We have a responsibility to our staff and are proud to share that in 2021, we were able to sign up to the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, a voluntary membership and assessment scheme.

In 2021, we were also able to offer an 8.5% pay rise to our staff, providing them with a salary in line with the Real Living Wage and one that reflects the value our staff bring to the organisation, as well as their expectations and responsibilities.
