The current employment rate for people with a learning difficulty is 4.8%. Pure are actively seeking more businesses, small and large, across Greater Manchester to champion their mission and create opportunities for young people with SEND to get into the world of work.

The #WhyWouldn’tYou? campaign will target, engage and influence employers to understand the value of diversifying their workforce and improving their recruitment processes, something Pure will work with them to do every step of the way.

The campaign, which launches on National Supported Internship Day (#NSID24) will highlight success stories from existing partner employers, using their voice to champion Pure’s mission and effectively communicate the countless benefits of providing workplace opportunities for people with learning difficulties, both for the organisation and the individual.
