This week is a cause for celebration as Pure’s Health and Wellbeing services receive award-winning recognition from the ‘Make a Difference’ International Women’s Day Community Awards.

Healthy communities that are both inclusive and rewarding for all residents, no matter their background or ability, has always been at the heart of Pure’s mission. Collecting the Mental Health Champion Award on behalf of Pure’s Wellbeing Teams acknowledges the ground-breaking initiatives that are transforming lives, building relationships and improving the health of local people.

Whether it’s the Community Hub, the Mental Health Network or IAPT teams, this accolade reflects the ambition and commitment of everyone involved who have played a crucial role in such rich and positive outcomes. Judges were taken back by the inspiring range of wellbeing services that Pure offer during a time that has never been so important:

  • One-to-one support to reduce social isolation and connect people to their community
  • Facilitating our social and peer support groups – Menopause in Mind, Start the Week mental health lunch group, Dementia Drop-in, Nurture Allotment Group, Olive Sanctuary social group, Mooch & Mingle walking group, SEN youth group.
  • Support and advice for local groups to help them start-up, develop & grow.
  • Easily accessible one-to-one Cognitive Behavioural Therapy sessions.
