Earlier this year, we launched a competition across the Pure community to design the logo for this year’s Access Festival and the response was incredible.
We received 48 entries from clients, staff and supporters, all bringing something creative, colourful and unique. After narrowing it down to a final shortlist of eight designs, we opened the vote to the public and we’re so excited to announce that our winning design was created by our amazing Project Support Worker, Elly!

The competition has been such a lovely way to build excitement ahead of this year’s festival and celebrate the creativity that exists right across our community.
Access Festival is one of the most special events in the Pure calendar. It was created around eight years ago after conversations with clients highlighted that many had never experienced live music events or festivals before. Since then, it has grown into a huge celebration of music, inclusion and community, welcoming more than 320 people each year.
This year’s festival takes place on Friday 17th July at Guildhall Stockport and will once again bring together clients, families, carers, staff and the wider community for an evening of live music, food, dancing, karaoke and entertainment.
A huge thank you to everybody who submitted a design and to everyone who voted. The support and creativity shown throughout the competition has been amazing to see and is exactly what Access Festival is all about.
We can’t wait to see Elly’s logo brought to life at this year’s event!
