International Women’s Day is a powerful reminder of the resilience, strength, and impact of women in our communities, women who take on roles that shape future generations.
As CEO of Pure Innovations since 2005, I have had the privilege of working alongside inspiring and influential women, many of whom have dedicated themselves to championing those on the margins of society. Often working with limited resources but boundless passion, these women ensure that voices are heard, and opportunities are created.
For me, this day is about celebrating progress while recognizing the challenges that remain. It’s about championing equity, amplifying women’s voices, and ensuring that opportunities are accessible to all. As a mother of two daughters in their early 20s, being a role model for them is hugely important to me. If I can inspire them to believe in themselves and face life’s challenges with humility and integrity, then I’ve done my job.
It’s also a moment to reflect on my own journey and the individuals who believed in me and invested in my potential. At Pure Innovations, we are all leaders with purpose, committed to supporting the next generation of female leaders.
International Women’s Day is not just a celebration, it’s a call to action. It reminds me of the responsibility I have to empower others, to create opportunities, and to encourage people to become the best versions of themselves. It’s about taking risks, breaking barriers, and ensuring that the pathways I’ve walked are open to others. I remain committed to challenging myself and others to drive positive change in our workplaces, communities, and wider society.
