Posted on the 18th September 2020

You can still see our Pure Innovations artists’ work at Manchester Histories DigiFest!

Pure One Voice Radio and Pure Art Studio are involved in the online gallery celebrating 50 years of Alf’s Act for disabled people’s rights. In addition to our clients’ work you will find stories, creativity, views and histories of disabled people from other talented contributors. You can access all this in just a few clicks!

Pure Art Studio

Pure artists have produced some fabulous ceramics inspired by the Heritage Futures exhibition at Manchester Museum. For this they focused on the topic of Heirlooms. They did this as part of our Creative Share ceramics project with Artist in Residence, Laura Negus.

Work from Pure Art Studio’s Heirlooms project is being featured as a gallery on the Manchester Histories DigiFest website NOW. It shows some of the ceramics made in the project, as well as some action shots of the artists at work. Click here to check it out.

Pure Radio

On the in-depth section of Manchester Histories DigiFest, Pure Radio make a poignant appearance. This is a video interview with radio members Ruth Selby and Ben Musther where Ruth shares her lockdown songs.

Lockdown was a tough time for many people including our clients. We found ourselves apart from friends, family and our everyday lives. Ruth explains the journey of feelings she went through before, during and after lockdown – in song form. Take a look at this interview here:
