Weaving Magic at Prospect House

Posted on the 9th October 2020

This so-cute koala was created by a Pure client in a weaving session at Prospect House.  Yes, our new centre in Hazel Grove is now OPEN – and clients love it!

Get Weaving

Local measures are currently restricting numbers of clients but not their enthusiasm and talent. When we visited, the sewing machine was whirring away in the bright craft room. As a result, that lovely koala is now adorning a decorative cushion. Meanwhile client Val was busy hand-embroidering her own colourful bird design and Pure’s Alison was stringing a circular weaving frame for the next project.

And how’s this for an earlier woven masterpiece?

We are completely sold on Val’s tie-dying too. What a gorgeous colour!

Art and crafting are such rewarding activities. They give a sense of accomplishment and fulfilment so beneficial to wellbeing. We offer many other art opportunities at our dedicated Art Studios   – including Ceramics. (Why not follow them on Twitter here?)

These are difficult times and we are delighted to see such colourful creativity already emerging at Prospect House. Magic!
