Celebrations took place this month as six young people graduated from the supported internship programme at Manchester Airport.
The programme, which is run in partnership with The Manchester College, has graduated 72 young people over it’s 8 year lifespan. Every year, more young people who ordinarily might find it difficult to gain employment are supported with on-the-job training, gaining the opportunity to experience three different placements across the airport and setting them up for real-life applications at the end of the course.
On 29th June, Callum, Hannah, Sahad, Oliver, Briony, and Jakob all celebrated graduating from the programme during a ceremony at Manchester Airport’s Aerozone education centre.
