Our NEW Social Impact report showcasing highlights from across 2019 is now published. It shows the impact we have made through supporting and promoting independent, healthy, fulfilled lives for our clients in their communities.
We are proud to work with a diverse range of people. We believe that with our support everyone can progress in their chosen path, creating lives enhanced with a sense of purpose and belonging.
Here are a few examples from the report. You can also download the full report at the bottom of the page.
Supported Internships
As you can see in the image above, our Supported Internship programmes enabled 62 young people to secure paid employment. Each Internship programme includes opportunities for interns to demonstrate their work abilities and potential in a series of tailored 10-week work placements. Internships work!
Travel Training
Independent Travel Training is proven to enhance the social lives, education and career prospects of young people.

Our one-to-one service boosts confidence and opens up so many opportunities for so many young people. Learn more here.
Health and Wellbeing
Our Health and Wellbeing services focus on improving mental health and tackling social isolation in Stockport.

We run the Wellbeing and Independence Network (WIN) and the Stockport Mental Health Network (MHN) in partnership with other great local organisations. You can see above just how busy they have been.
Engaging Activities
Taking part in rewarding activities does so much for a sense of purpose and achievement.

Pure clients at our different centres in Stockport, Oldham and Rochdale have the opportunity to take part in sport, radio production, tai chi, drama, animation, ceramics, gardening, woodwork, cafe training and so much more.
These are just a few of the highlights in the report.
